In August 2005, at the 11th ACM Sigkdd International Conference, WEKA Team, University of Waikato, won the highest service award in the field of data mining and knowledge exploration, and the Weka system has been widely recognized and is known as data mining and machinery. Interestingly, the Software Abbreviation Weka is also a unique bird name (New Zealand seed chickens) in New Zealand, while Weka's main developers prefer the University of Waikato from New Zealand.
